About Newtown Slocomb

Newtown Manufacturing and Building Supply, Inc. was incorporated in 1979, with Don Sennett Sr. the founder and driving force. He created a family run business serving a 200 mile radius from Wilkes-Barre, PA, with a variety of windows and building products. Newtown purchased its window components from Slocomb Industries, another family run business, led by Leon Slocomb. Leon Slocomb had started manufacturing vinyl windows in 1961, and is recognized nationally as one of the pioneers of the vinyl window industry.
Newtown-Slocomb is the result of the marriage of these two businesses, and is led by Carl Slocomb and Don Sennett Jr, sons of the respective founders. Both Carl and Don have over 30 years experience in the manufacture of vinyl windows.
Since combining forces, Newtown-Slocomb has:
